A Property Platform That Works for Both Sides

Web design and development connecting property buyers, agents and listing management.

Ken & Co Property Consultants needed a website that served both property buyers and the agents managing its listings. I designed and developed the public browsing experience alongside a system for agents to maintain their own properties.

My role: Website strategy, UI/UX, web design and development.
Scope: Property listings, agent enquiries, local buyer tools, agent dashboard and administration.

the outcome

Two audiences, one platform.

The completed platform combines a clear property browsing experience with a self-service listing system. Buyers can explore properties and contact the responsible agent, while agents manage their listings through their own accounts.

what we do

To Get There

01

key features

Straight to the Right Agent

Each property connects the buyer directly to its responsible agent through an enquiry form, phone call or WhatsApp message.

This keeps the conversation close to the person who knows the property and gives buyers a choice of contact methods.

02

localise

Built for How Sarawak Actually Buys Property

A mortgage calculator helps buyers explore estimated repayments alongside a listing. Property details also accommodate local conventions, including land measurements in points for Sarawak buyers.

These features make the experience more relevant to Ken & Co’s customers.

03

the agent backend

Listings, in the Agents' Hands

Agents can sign in to add properties, upload photographs, update details and publish their listings. The workflow gives them control over routine updates without needing a developer for each change.

I tested the listing flow with team members who had different levels of confidence with technology, then refined the steps and instructions around their feedback.

04

copyright

Protecting the Agents' Work

Watermarks and display-sized images help preserve attribution and discourage casual reuse of property photographs.

These measures support the agents’ work while keeping images useful for buyers. They do not make online photographs impossible to copy.

05

Master admin

One place to oversee agents and listings

A master administrator account lets the agency manage agent access and oversee listings from one place. Agents maintain their own properties day to day, while the owner retains an overview of the platform.

06

solution

Bringing listings into one platform

The agency previously managed listings across channels such as Mudah and Facebook. Its own platform provides a central place for property information and gives each agent responsibility for keeping their listings current.

key takeaway

To Remember

A property platform has to work for the people publishing listings as well as those browsing them. This project brings both sides together, with clear ownership of updates and direct routes from property interest to an agent conversation.
