Charity Gala & Fundraising Platform

UI/UX and visual design for a charity gala and celebrity fundraising experience.

For the Malaysia-China Entrepreneur Macro Health Forum & Grand Asian Celebrity Charity Gala Night, I designed two connected digital experiences: the public event website and a celebrity fundraising platform.

The brief called for a premium visual identity alongside clear navigation, helping visitors explore the event and find the person they wanted to support.

My role: UI/UX and visual design only.
Scope: Event website, fundraising screens, responsive layouts and visual system.
Development and final launch were handled separately.

the outcome

A clear invitation to support

The delivered designs connect celebrity profiles, encouragement videos and donation prompts in one consistent experience. A prominent Fund Now action gives visitors a clear starting point for the donation flow, whether they arrive with a person in mind or discover someone while browsing.

what we do

To Get There

01

the visual system

Defining the Colours

Forever GACC’s green anchors the platform in its existing identity. I paired it with a soft coral to bring warmth to the interface and highlight donation prompts.

Supporting tonal variations keep the system flexible across screens while making key actions easy to recognise.

02

discovery

The Core Challenge

Keep the main action visible.
The interface needed to present event information without burying the invitation to donate.

Support different starting points.
Some visitors already know who they want to support; others need to explore the roster first. I designed both routes to lead to the same clear donation flow.

03

A clear way to give, wherever the visitor starts.

Funding, Front and Centre

Featured celebrity cards on the homepage open an encouragement video, with a Fund Now button beside the content. This connects the person’s story with the next action.

A prominent donation button in the header also gives visitors who have already decided a direct route into the fundraising flow.

04

Don't make them choose the hard way.

Browse, Then Back Your Pick

The celebrity page presents the full roster for visitors who want to explore before choosing. Each profile follows the same pattern: discover the person, watch their message and open the donation flow.

Repeating this interaction makes the experience easier to understand across the platform.

05

responsive design

One Experience, Every Screen

I designed responsive layouts for desktop and mobile. Wider screens give celebrity cards and videos more space; the mobile layout stacks the content into a clear browsing sequence with donation prompts close to the relevant profile.

The goal was to preserve the same hierarchy and familiar actions across screen sizes.

key takeaway

To Remember

A fundraising interface needs a clear invitation to act alongside the story that motivates it. This project brought those elements together through a consistent visual system, focused navigation and responsive layouts.
